Thanks for renting with PURE Property Management - We are sorry to see you go but wish you the best in your future endeavors. This video will help you prepare for the move-out inspection, giving you the best opportunity for a full refund of your security deposit.
We ask, per the Rental Agreement and the Move out Packet you will receive, that you return the dwelling undamaged and in clean, ready-to-rent condition.
“Ready-to-rent” means as clean as you would leave your house if you knew your best friend or your favorite aunt was moving in after you. After you have provided us the keys we will walk through the house with a copy of the move-in inspection, comparing the two inspections.
We strongly suggest that you use our service providers for the cleaning of the home, and the cleaning of the carpets, to minimize your work and to be sure you can receive a full refund of your security deposit. If you opt not to use our service providers, we will need you to clean the appliances, stove, hood, and cabinets (under the sinks, too) both inside and out; remove all non-adhesive shelf paper and use an appropriate cleanser on the showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and medicine cabinets;
You should dust the ceilings for cobwebs; clean walls and baseboards, clean window sills, and closet shelving; dust the blinds; clean the floor tile or linoleum, sweep the entry, patio, porch, and garage or
storage areas; remove all personal belongings from the property. A detailed account of everything to be cleaned is in your move out packet.
Leaving the house in undamaged condition means that nothing should not be missing or broken; there should be no new burns, cracks, chips, or holes in the dwelling or its furnishings; and the paint on the walls should not have excess wear and tear. All appliances, light bulbs, etc. should be in good working condition.
The house must be empty with all utilities on for us to perform the move out inspection. Please remember that until you have removed all your possessions from the premises and return the keys to us, you are still liable for rent and utilities. Turning off the utilities will cause a reinstatement fee of $125.00 per utility service.
All move out inspections are completed during normal business hours. You do not need to be present for the inspection.
